Identifying, understanding and mastering cell differentiation processes is of key interest in the development of innovative therapeutic strategies. Fluofarma has developed a range of cell differentiation assays, either based on cell morphology or on the expression of specific differentiation markers. They can be used to standardize and validate new cellular models derived from primary cultures or stem cells, or to evaluate the effects of anti-tumoral compounds.

Specific markers of cell differentiation such as neuronal markers (β-tubulin, MAP2 ...)specific transporters (MRP2 ...) and cell signaling markers (CREB ...) can be detected and quantitatively measured by high content analysis to evaluate the effects of test compounds. Their expression level and intracellular/membrane localization can be analyzed into the whole cell population or into specific subpopulations.
