Ecotoxicity
Needs of predicitive tests
The REACH directive now requires product developers to provide basic environmental
toxicity data on both new and existing chemicals. Consequently,
cosmetics and chemical companies have to ensure the environmental safety of
their products and novel compounds.
Eco-reporter system
Fluofarma has developed an innovative method for predicting environmental
toxicity. We perform multiplexed toxicity analysis in microalgae used as an
eco-sensor to assess cytolysis and the inhibition of the algae proliferation.
