Fluofarma has developed a panel of assays for focused secondary screening in cell-based models of human diseases or in primary cell cultures. Our cell-based models enable reliable, targeted screening for a specific pathology.
Fluofarma developed cellular models that mimic neurodegenerative disease.
Those models are based on primary cultures of neurons grown in presence of
neurodegeneration inducers.
As shown by the Figure below, focused screenings using those models
allow the identification of drugs able to delay the neurodegeneration process
(green).

Fluofarma has a large panel of cancer cell lines which are representative of
the major tumor types, as well as engineered cell lines overexpressing
specific targets for more focused screening.
These cell-based tools enable allow the identification of drugs which
act on a specific cancer type or a specific target.
Career opportunities:
Fluofarma is searching for new talents, currently several
positions are available:
- Research Associates
- Bioengineers
