Example of primary cultures
For example Fluofarma developed neuronal primary
cultures that mimic neurodegenerative pathologies like Alzheimer’s
disease and Parkinson’s disease. Primary cultures of neurons treated with a
neurodegeneration inducer constitute a reliable experimental model.
The core objective of Fluofarma models is to identify compounds able to
protect neurons and delay the neurodegenerative process.
