Fluofarma

Fluofarma is a privately-held contract service provider which offers High Content Screening (HCS) services for target/drug discovery, predictive toxicity testing and cosmetics development.

History

Fluofarma was spun out of the prestigious European Institute of Chemistry and Biology (IECB) in Bordeaux, France, by a team of scientists with in-depth, wide-ranging expertise in oncology, neurobiology and chemistry. In the last couple of years, sales of Fluofarma's services have grown by more than 400% and Fluofarma now works with over 30 companies worldwide.

Technology

Fluofarma has developed innovative technologies that improve the level of understanding of compounds and their effects, from the earliest stage of the discovery process onwards.

The Fluofarma platforms, including automated confocal microscopy, automated flow cytometry and laser scanning cytometry, combine cell-based assays with large-scale analysis. The company's proprietary technologies enable the simultaneous functional analysis of several molecular events in single cells.
