Fluofarma is a privately-held contract service provider which offers High Content Screening (HCS) services for target/drug discovery, predictive toxicity testing and cosmetics development.
Fluofarma was spun out of the prestigious European Institute of Chemistry and Biology (IECB) in Bordeaux, France, by a team of scientists with in-depth, wide-ranging expertise in oncology, neurobiology and chemistry. In the last couple of years, sales of Fluofarma's services have grown by more than 400% and Fluofarma now works with over 30 companies worldwide.
Fluofarma has developed an innovative technology that improves the level of understanding of compounds and their effects, from the earliest stage of the discovery process onwards.
The Fluofarma platform, based on automated flow cytometry, combines cell-based assays with large-scale analysis. The company's proprietary technology enables the simultaneous functional analysis of several molecular events in single cells.
